These terms cover the TinyPine Studio app (“the app”) and the website tinypine.app. By downloading or using the app you accept them.
Who runs TinyPine
TinyPine is made and run by PineCore Systems, a trading name of Bröderna Saxin AB, company registration number 559379-4364, registered with the Swedish Companies Registration Office (Bolagsverket), with its registered office in Nora Municipality, Örebro County, Sweden. Early version
TinyPine Studio is in active development. Features, file formats and system requirements can change between versions, and some parts are unfinished. Keep your own copies of work you care about.
Free to use
The app is free for personal and commercial use under these terms, the Acceptable Use Policy and the licence of every model you install.
Version 1 (every release before 2.0) stays free and stays available to download, also if a later major version comes with other terms. The full promise is on Our promise.
Models you install
Models are installed through the Grove and each one stays under its own licence, listed on the Licences page. You are the licensee of the models you run and are responsible for meeting their terms. Three of them limit commercial scale:
- Krea 2 (image generation): the Krea 2 Community License covers organisations with up to USD 1,000,000 in total revenue over the trailing twelve months. Above that you need a licence from Krea.
- LTX-2.5 (video): the LTX-2.x Community License covers organisations with up to USD 10,000,000 in annual revenue. Above that you need a licence from Lightricks.
- MiniMax-Music3 (music): above USD 20,000,000 in yearly revenue you need a separate written authorisation from MiniMax. Its Acceptable Use Policy also binds you: among other things, a song you publish in a public place must be clearly marked as machine-generated.
Music safeguards
The MiniMax-Music3 licence requires safeguards against uses that infringe other people's rights, and that they are never switched off. The app therefore replaces real artists named in a description with their genres, refuses well-known songs, asks you once to confirm that you wrote your lyrics or may use them, and puts an inaudible AudioSeal watermark and AI tags in every song. The details are in the Acceptable Use Policy. Removing the watermark or the tags, or getting around the safeguards, breaks these terms and the model licence.
Your content
We claim no rights to your prompts, lyrics, images, videos, songs, LoRAs or projects. They are made and stored on your computer. You are responsible for what you create and share, and for having the rights to any images, lyrics or sound you import, edit, train on or have sung.
Updates
The app checks tinypine.app for a newer version and shows a notice when one exists. It never installs anything by itself: you download and run the new installer. Your library, models and settings are kept across updates.
Your hardware
Image, video and music generation keep the graphics card under heavy load for long periods. The app limits how much graphics memory it uses by default (Settings → GPU), but you run it on your own hardware at your own risk.
No warranty, limited liability
The app and the website are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, PineCore Systems is not liable for damages arising from their use, including lost work, lost data or hardware faults.
Changes and applicable law
We may change these terms. The version on this page, with its date, is the one that applies. Swedish law applies, and disputes are settled by the Swedish general courts. If you use the app as a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection of the country you live in still applies, and in Sweden you can also turn to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN).
